ATB BIKE LLC SAFETY DISCLAIMER
Electric bicycles are powerful machines designed for use by adults in controlled and safe environments. Most electric bicycles can be ridden where non-motorized bikes are allowed, but it is your responsibility to check and comply with all local laws. Your electric bicycle should only be ridden in safe areas where all applicable laws are followed, and necessary permissions are obtained.
As it is impossible to anticipate every situation or condition that may arise while riding, ATB Bike LLC makes no representations about the safe use of their electric bicycles in all circumstances. Riders are responsible for ensuring that the ebike is correctly assembled in accordance with our instruction manuals or videos, and that all bolts, nuts, fasteners, and quick-release clamps are securely fastened before riding. There are inherent risks associated with the use of an electric bicycle that cannot be foreseen or prevented and are solely the responsibility of the rider.
ATB Bike LLC accepts no liability or responsibility for any accidents or injuries that may occur as a result of using any of their electric bicycles or any other product.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ATB Bike LLC, its affiliates, family members, current and former employees, and any other party involved in the creation, production, or delivery of ATB Bike LLC products are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from a user's access to or use of ATB Bike LLC products.
Battery Use Risk: Improper use, care, or charging of a lithium-ion battery could result in serious injury to the product, property, or individuals. If the battery is tampered with or damaged in any way, do not use the product and immediately seek out a hazardous waste disposal facility. It is the purchaser's responsibility to maintain the safe storage and handling of the battery at all times. Only use the charger provided with your product. The fact that a charger fits your device does not mean it is safe for use.
Keep your device away from extremely high or low-temperature environments. Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or store it inside vehicles in extreme hot or cold weather conditions.
Avoid exposing the battery to water or allowing it to get wet.
If the battery does not recharge within the specified charging time, do not continue charging it, as this may lead to overheating, explosion, or ignition.
If you observe any damage to the battery after dropping it, do not use the device. If you suspect battery damage, contact our support team or dispose of the battery and order a replacement.
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery in any way. Modifying your electronic device significantly increases the risk of explosion and will void all warranties.
Owner’s Manual: Please refer to your bicycle's Owner’s Manual, which provides essential information on the safety and maintenance of your electric bike. We recommend thoroughly reading the entire manual before operating your electric bicycle and keeping it for future reference.
If you have any questions or require assistance with the maintenance of your product at any time, please contact us at support@atbbike.com, or you may refer to the manufacturer's contact information provided in the Owner’s Manual.
