WARRANTY PERIOD

ATB Bike LLC ("ATB Bike") offers a comprehensive two (2) year warranty from the date of delivery for all new ATB Bike electric bicycles and their Covered Components, subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein. Please note that this limited warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser, and it cannot be transferred to subsequent owners. To claim warranty service, the original buyer must provide electronic proof of purchase, including the order number, email address, and name used during the initial purchase. It is important to emphasize that any repaired or replaced part maintains its warranty period based on the original delivery date of the ebike.

COVERED COMPONENTS

This limited warranty encompasses various components, including the frame, forks, stem, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, controller, LCD display, and electrical sensors.

BATTERY WARRANTY

Our batteries are covered by a one (1) year pro-rated warranty. If, within the warranty period, a battery is found to be defective or its capacity falls below 60% of its rated value, we will repair it free of charge. However, customers are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the battery for service. Please be mindful of the instructions below to ensure the integrity of your battery warranty:

  • Do not charge the battery below 32 degrees Fahrenheit or above 105 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Allow the battery to cool down to ambient temperature before charging, especially after riding.
  • Protect your battery from exposure to water.
  • Charge the battery at least once a month.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following items are not covered under warranty:

  • Consumable or normal wear and tear parts (e.g., tires, brake pads, bearings, chains, handlebar grips, rubber components, shifters, brake cables and casings, spokes, sprockets, stripped threads/bolts, tools, transmission gears).
  • Damages or defects to Covered Components resulting from non-compliance with user manual instructions, force majeure, accidents, misuse, neglect, abuse, unauthorized alterations or modifications to the ebike, assembly or repair work by unauthorized third parties, installation of non-original or incompatible parts or accessories, operator error, water damage, extreme riding, or improper maintenance.
  • Damages resulting from improper use, such as exceeding the ebike's rated load capacity or raising the seatpost above its minimum insertion mark.
  • Products used for competition or commercial activities, including rentals or leases, unless otherwise agreed upon by ATB Bike.
  • Gifts or accessories provided with the ebike free of charge.
  • This limited warranty does not apply to the sale of spare parts and accessories.
  • Damages caused by using a third-party battery charger not originally supplied by ATB Bike.
  • Shipping damages if the purchaser opts for their own shipping method.

CLAIM PROCESS

1. Warranty Claims

If you suspect that any component of your ebike is defective, please contact the local ATB Bike retailer where you made your purchase. The retailer will initiate a warranty claim with ATB Bike on your behalf. For those who purchased directly from ATB Bike, all warranty claims must be submitted via email to support@atbbike.com. Please refrain from attempting any repairs or replacements on your own before contacting an ATB Bike retailer or ATB Bike directly, as this may void your warranty and compromise the safety and reliability of your ebike.

When submitting a warranty claim, provide detailed information about the issues you are experiencing and attach clear photos or videos for better assessment. Upon receiving your claim, our dedicated customer service team will offer remote assistance via email or phone, as there may be simple solutions to address your concerns.

If our customer service team determines that a replacement part is necessary, they will guide you on returning the defective components and receiving the replacement. Customers are responsible for shipping charges. The decision to cover a defective component under this limited warranty rests with ATB Bike.

For purchases made through authorized dealers, the user should visit the point of sale for local warranty service and support. If any part of the bike is found to be defective, the local dealer will request a replacement from ATB Bike. ATB Bike will collaborate closely with the local shop to ensure prompt and responsible issue resolution.

2. Shipping Damage Claims

While we have confidence in the quality of our products, there is a slight possibility of shipping damage. We strongly advise inspecting your product(s) immediately upon receipt. In the unfortunate event that you discover damage, take photos from various angles, retain all packaging and paperwork, and promptly contact ATB Bike at support@atbbike.com. Please be aware that we will not accept shipping damage claims submitted more than 14 days after receiving the product(s).
