E-Bike Repair in Tustin, CA

We service every brand of electric bike, including the one you bought online and the one whose manufacturer is no longer answering the phone. Walk in during shop hours and a mechanic will look at it with you.

All of them. That is the short version. The ones we see most often in Tustin and Irvine:

Rad Power, Pedego, Electric Bike Company, Lectric, Aventon, Super73, Velotric, Ride1Up, Himiway, Heybike, Engwe, Macfox, Meelod, AIMA, Freego, Snapcycle, Vanpowers, plus a steady stream of brands nobody has heard of that showed up in a box from a marketplace listing.

You do not need to have bought the bike from us. A large share of the bikes on our stand were bought somewhere else.

What we do

• Mechanical service: brakes, drivetrain, wheels, tires, tubes, bearings, headsets, adjustments, full safety checks
• Assembly and setup: the box-to-rideable job done properly, including bikes that arrived half built and have never been right since
• Tune-ups: the whole-bike once-over that most e-bikes have never had
• Battery diagnostics: testing what your pack is actually doing, so you know whether you are chasing a battery problem, a controller problem, or neither
• Flat repair: including fat-tire rims, which are their own kind of annoying
• Post-crash inspection: an honest look at whether the frame and fork are still safe to ride

What we do not do

Saying this up front saves you a trip:

• We do not take on deep electrical rebuilds of off-brand systems. If the fault is buried inside a no-name controller or wiring harness, we will tell you rather than bill you to guess at it.
• We do not keep customer batteries in the shop overnight. That is a fire-safety decision and we do not bend it.
• We do not sell you parts you do not need. If a ten-minute adjustment fixes it, that is what it gets.

Your brand went out of business. Now what?

Orange County has thousands of e-bikes on the road with no factory support behind them. Rad Power filed for Chapter 11 in December 2025 and, per its own warranty page, does not honor warranty claims on bikes bought before December 15, 2025. Electric Bike Company filed Chapter 7. Pedego's Irvine store closed.

Here is the thing worth saying plainly: a bankruptcy does not break your bike. Brakes, drivetrains, wheels, tires and bearings are ordinary bicycle parts, and ordinary bicycle parts are what a bike shop works on all day. Most of what goes wrong on a three-year-old e-bike has nothing to do with who owns the brand.

Is your bike still street legal in 2026?

Two California rules changed on January 1, 2026. The one that catches most riders: AB 544 requires a red reflector or red light on the rear during all hours of operation, not just at night. If the rear light on your bike died a while back, you are out of compliance right now.

How it works

1. Roll it in. No appointment, no intake form. Mon–Sat 10 AM to 6 PM, Sun 12 PM to 6 PM.
2. A mechanic looks at it with you. You will hear what is actually wrong, in plain language.
3. You get a straight quote before any work starts. Small adjustments we will often just handle on the spot.
4. If it is not worth fixing, we say so. A four-year-old budget bike with a dying pack and a rusted drivetrain can cost more to revive than it is worth, and you deserve to hear that before you spend the money.
